Tea TypeThere are primarily 4 tea types i.e Black, Green, Oolong & White. Plucked and produced from the same tea plant Camellia Sinensis, each tea type is differentiated based on the level of fermentation/oxidation they go through during production.
OriginIt refers to the tea growing region where this tea has been sourced from.
Flush / SeasonIt refers to the season in which this tea was harvested. First Flush refers to Spring & Second flush refers to summer.
EstateIt refers to the specific plantation/garden where this tea has be sourced from.
InvoiceTea in Indian plantations specially Darjeeling & Assam are growin in batches which are referred to the invoice number. An invoice numbers enurses that the single estate tea is 100% pure and genuine. The invoice is awarded to every batch by the tea estate itself.
Date of PickingIt refers to the date on which this tea was harvested from the tea plant and is not the date of packaging. Date of Packaging is the specific date on which the teas are finally packaged in our unit.
Grade​T​ea leaf grading is the process of evaluating products based on the quality and condition of the tea leaves​. ​The highest grades are referred to as "orange pekoe"​ i.e SFTGFOP1, FTGFOP1​, and the lowest as "fannings" or "dust".
SpecialityIt refers to weather this tea is from a specific single plantation or a special blend of teas from multiple estates & plantations curated by our Master Blenders. ​
CaffeineThe caffeine content in this tea categorized into three broad levels i.e low, medium & high.

This morning I had the opportunity to brew a pot of Bala Sarda's Vahdam Tea. First, the packaging assures receipt in the freshest state possible. Sealed in aluminum lined heavy resealable paper assures fresh picked aroma and flavor. Second, following the brewing instructions on the packet, I was able to produce the aroma, taste points and perfection of the finest of Breakfast Teas. If you purchase your tea at the grocer in the little cardboard boxes and dropped the tea bag in a cup with boiling water, you truly haven't experienced the way premium tea tastes. I have given Bala Sarda's tea five stars but only because Amazon does not have a ten star scale. No other tea but Vahdam by Bala Sarda will grace my pantry. It is simply the finest Breakfast Tea available.

This tea is really amazing. It taste very clear and fragrant, not muddy and mixed unlike some other tea. I can also see a lot of effort has been put into packaging to ensure my satisfaction as a customer. The tea box include a separate aluminium zipped bag, so after I opened the tea bag, I can then use the zipped bag to store the tea, to ensure longer lasting tea flavor. Thanks for putting together this nice touch, as a customer I appreciate the little things that were put together since it shows you care about what you are selling. All in all, I will be buying again.

Teas are subjective, yeah sure. But if you don't like this you're a crazy person. Seriously.I'm a heavy tea drinker, and I have to moderate the amount of this tea I drink. The aroma is very strong, of cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. It's a very flavorful chai. I don't know how authentic it is but it is delicious and refreshing. I own about 20 different teas at the moment but I mostly just drink this one.
