It is a dignitary of the famous Nilgiris range and lies at an elevation ranging from 4000 to 6000 feet above sea level. Due to the cold, dry and misty climatic conditions, their leaves are characterized by a brisk and golden color which distinctively bestows the savory floral aroma in their teas. The total planted area constitutes 525 hectares which yield approximately 3000 kgs per hectare. Glendale is among the most recognized Nilgiri tea plantations and follows all global production standards.
